I come from a fine art and design background. Nowadays though, my medium is more likely to be found via the mouse and keyboard, although I still like to dabble with a paintbrush.

Along with my 9 to 5 job I occasionally undertake freelance commissions for design and web projects. With my partner in crime, Lily's_Mum, I am in the process of creating a online baby empire. Visit essentialwishlist.com to find out more.

I am happily married to a very talented IT consultant and general troubleshooter extraordinaire. We divide our time between central London and Lincolnshire with a sprog(s) in tow.

previous work

During my freelancing days I have been fortunate to have worked in a number of industries including: corporate banking, advertising, professional institutions, e-commerce, internet startups and joint ventures. I worked for an advertising monitoring company as a web and graphic designer for 6 years. Based in the west-end of London the company specialised in the capture and monitoring of advertising media across the world. My role involved working with the web development team to implement and design all the web systems and sites.

I currently work as a freelance designer and really enjoy working with small businesses and individuals in helping them get online. I also do a bit or print design which is another aspect which is of great interest to me. No two days are the same and it helps keeps me on my toes!
